Hi,
I’m Maike.
a yoga lover, practitioner and teacher.
I see yoga as an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself and simply be. Through movement and breath, I invite you to listen, feel and soften into the present moment.
This is my invitation to be, feel & soften.
What yoga teaches me.
That I can come back.
Back to my breath when everything feels too much.
Back to my body when I start to lose myself in my head.
I learn that I don’t have to push. Not physically & certainly not mentally.
And that the quieter voice – the one humming underneath the chaos – is the only one I need to trust.
Because showing up is only half the truth.
The other half is staying.
Strength is honoring your own limits.
Calm, mindful,
and without pressure.
I teach Vinyasa Yoga and especially love mindful, yet empowering and powerful flows. Fluid movements alternate with longer holds, allowing breath and movement to come together. This creates space to slow down, connect with your body, and arrive fully in the present moment.
Props are an essential and natural part of my practice. They are there to support you, offer stability, and help you find your own way through each practice.
There is no single right shape. Every pose has variations, and choosing an alternative one is never a step backwards — it is the practice itself.
Wherever you are right now, start here.
Beginners, returners, people who have been told they are "not flexible", people carrying an injury, a hard year. You don't need experience, equipment, or a particular kind of body. You need an hour.
I look forward to meeting you.
We are all a wonderful work in progress.
We don’t have to be perfect or have it all figured out. We’re allowed to grow, change, and rediscover ourselves, each in our own time.
A little about me.
I’m Maike, 35, and in early 2026, I took a leap of faith and travelled to Thailand to complete my yoga teacher training.
I set out to deepen my understanding of yoga, but came back with so much more than new knowledge of asanas and movement. The training profoundly shaped my perspective on life and the way I relate to myself and others.
I learned the value of slowing down, tuning in, and meeting life with more patience and compassion. Because yoga reaches far beyond the mat.
These are the experiences I want to share– by creating a space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and find your own way.
